On the Tibetan Plateau, there are thousands of lakes . Most geologists believe that the plateau was covered by the ocean in the past. When the ocean retreated, it left innumerable lakes behind. And that is why some of the lakes are salt water lakes. Lake on the highest plateau of the world is so different in my imagination of other lakes in the mainland China. There are origin, pure and tranquil, which makes me can't wait to travel to Tibet.
