Jokhang Monastery

Situated in the center of the old area of Lhasa, Jokhang Forehead was designed in the mid-7th millennium A.D. and later prolonged by subsequent kings, it has now become a huge structural complicated. It is a must-see attraction for a Tibet Tour. Located in the eastern, experiencing to the western, it is a four storeyed temple with wonderful fantastic rooftops. It has structural function of Tang Empire and also merged very much functions from both Nepalese and Native Indian Buddhist wats. The paintings in the temple mainly illustrate the lifestyle experiences of ancient figures. The temple homes many traditional artifacts since Tang Empire and sculptures of Master Songtesn Gampo, Queen Wencheng, and Queen Bhrikuti Devi. “Princess Willow” (a tree), and “The Uncle-Nephew Partnership Tablet” can be seen at the top side checkpoint of the temple.
