The Shalu Monastery is located in Rikuozuo within the Shalu town.You can chose this attraction during your Tibet Tour.The development was began in 1000 by Jestun Sherab Jungne. Its structure is of common mixture of the Tibetan and China designs with the archways, designed support beams, tiled rooftops and the Music and Yuan design paintings, a unusual and exclusive perform of art, combined function of Tibetan and Han. Besides the various types of sculptures of Buddha, The monastery enshrines various artifacts such as spiritual things,Buddhist scriptures published on “pattra” results in, and an essential decree of Pagpa, the Sakya abbot. It also has 4 gifts to be enshrined. The first is a bible publishing panel designed out of shoe wooden. The second is a birdwatcher jar to contain sacred water. It is said that the water is modified every other 12 decades, but the amount and excellent of the water do not modify even ifit has been in the jar for 12 decades. The third is a rock container which is said to be used by Shaja Banzhida. It all is a rock Board with the 6-character concept etched on it. On the 4 comers of the panel are also etched four clarity pagodas. It is said that when the development first began, the panel was uncovered.
