Shigatse

Shigatse -- A Granary of Tibet
Shigatse is a popular social town with a record of more than 500 decades. Some 3,800 measures above sea stage, it has been a position in which Panchen Erdini Lamas of various traditional levels were authenticated. Later it has become a governmental and spiritual middle in back Tibet. To its southern appears the world-known Mt. Qomolangma (Mt. Everest). Around the town there are the Sakya, Palkor and Shalu Monasteries. It is also as beautiful as Lhasa, if you travel to Tibet, you will have the chance to view its beauty.
