IDs checked on trains to Tibet

All China tourists getting practice to Tibet will have to take along their recognition cards. For people from other countries travelling to Tibet by practice, Tibet entry permit is required along with practice solution when getting on the practice.



Starting Oct 23, travelers getting teaches to the capital, Xinjiang Uygur independent area and Tibet independent area will all go through recognition checks before getting on, according to the China Train Institution.



Chinese railway introduced a real-name system to control the widespread solution scalping that has affected the Spring Event travel rush for years, demanding all practice solution buyers to register their names and applying a spot check of ID cards before getting on the practice to Tibet.
